Job summary

Taco Bell is seeking a Shift Manager to support restaurant operations under the direction of the Assistant Manager and the Restaurant Manager. This role requires full certification in the Shift Leader training path and ServSafe certification, and involves supervising team members and running shifts.

You will ensure cleanliness, food quality, and customer service, manage costs and cash handling, oversee shift transitions, and train staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be Serv Safe certified.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Ensure restaurant is clean and follows all procedures; uphold food quality, cleanliness, sanitation, and customer service standards.
• Effectively manage costs within budgeted levels including cash handling, food, labor, and supplies.
• Responsible for cash register setup and smooth shift transitions during shift changes.
• Oversee and manage the shift, supervise team members, maintain communication, and focus on customer service.
• Train new and existing team members in various stations and procedures as needed.
• Complete shift management administrative tasks, including reports, sales readings, and documentation.
• Post sales readings and conduct shift awareness walk-throughs to ensure smooth operations.
• Observe and enforce safety and security procedures and create a safe work environment.
• Provide training, coaching, and development to Team Members.
