Job summary

Taco Bell is seeking a Shift Manager to run shifts under the Restaurant Manager and Assistant Manager, supervising team members in a fast-paced restaurant. You will ensure cleanliness, food quality, customer service, cash handling, and smooth shift transitions.

Progression through Level 1–4 depends on demonstrated skills and experience, completion of the Shift Leader training path, and ServSafe certification; compensation is to be discussed.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be Serv Safe certified.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the restaurant is clean and well-maintained; uphold quality, cleanliness, sanitation, and service.
• Manage costs within budgeted levels including labor, food, supplies, energy, and other expenses.
• Handle cash register setup and smooth shift transitions.
• Oversee and supervise shifts and train team members.
• Complete shift management administrative tasks and reports.
• Post sales readings and conduct shift awareness walk-throughs.
• Enforce safety and security procedures.
• Train and develop team members.
