Job summary

Chick-fil-A Daytona Beach is seeking a Kitchen Shift Manager to lead back-of-house operations during opening, mid-shift, and closing hours. You will supervise staffing, enforce food safety standards, and ensure fast, friendly service in a fast-paced environment.

This role requires ServSafe certification (or plan to obtain), the ability to open or close at least three days weekly, and a commitment to the HEARD model for guest recovery.

Qualifications

• ServSafe Certified (Will complete once hired).
• Available to Open or Close at least three days per week.
• Completed the Accelerate Leadership Development program (Will complete once hired).
• No more than three call outs during the previous six months
• Understand, model, and execute the HEARD model for guest recovery.
• Have knowledge of and consistently execute our organization’s mission statement and Core Values
• Understands and helps promote knowledge of the Food Safety 5 and how it applies to their respective area

Responsibilities

• Leads the back of house portion of the restaurant including staffing, operations, and quality standards.
• Checks in all team members on shift for proper appearance guidelines.
• Ensures that all breaks and rotations are handled for the shift.
• Must be proficient in food safety standards.
• Ensures quality product is served to guests always.
• Maintains Speed of Service at or below established goals and reports results per shift.
• Monitors labor productivity and makes adjustments as needed to reach established goals and reports results per shift.
• Maintains a clean and safe environment at all times.
• Manages call offs and tardies as per store policy.
• Completes one food safety audit per shift.
• Documents team member infractions.
• Works with Catering Director to execute catering orders for the shift.
• Open and/or close the restaurant leading the shift as a key holder.
• Enthusiastically and passionately leads the team.

We have openings for the Kitchen Shift Manager position. The work schedule for this position will rotate to include a combination of opening, mid-shift, and closing.
