Job summary

Chick-fil-A Daytona Beach is seeking a Shift Manager to lead front-of-house operations, staffing, and guest satisfaction. The schedule rotates to open, mid-shift, and close, so availability across those hours is required.

You will oversee cash handling, food safety practices, and shift communications, while coordinating catering orders and ensuring a clean, welcoming environment. ServSafe certification and Accelerate Leadership Development are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold ServSafe certification (will complete once hired).
• Available to Open or Close at least three days per week.
• Completed the Accelerate Leadership Development program.
• No more than three call outs in the previous six months.
• Understand, model, and execute the HEARD model for guest recovery.

Responsibilities

• Leads the front of house portion of the restaurant including staffing, operations, and guest satisfaction.
• Checks in all team members on shift for proper appearance guidelines.
• Ensures breaks and rotations are managed for the shift.
• Proficient at handling and counting cash drawers.
• Maintains speed of service at or below goals and reports results per shift.
• Monitors labor productivity and makes adjustments to reach goals.
• Maintains a clean and safe environment at all times.
• Manages call offs and tardies per store policy.
• Completes one food safety audit per shift.
• Documents team member infractions.
• Works with Catering Director to execute catering orders for the shift.
• Open and/or close the restaurant leading the shift as a key holder.

We plan to open our newly constructed restaurant late June 2023.
