The Role:

As a Food and Beverage Shift Manager, you will supervise restaurant activities and staff to ensure smooth service and uphold service standards in a 24-hour outlet.

Responsibilities:

1. Foster an environment aligned with Bally's 'Born to Entertain' philosophy, creating a fun and entertaining atmosphere.
2. Promote Bally's customer-centric culture by providing superior guest service and building lasting guest relationships.
3. Ensure compliance with all regulatory controls, including state and federal laws and New York State Gaming Commission regulations.
4. Hire, train, and manage staff according to organizational standards and policies.
5. Maintain high standards for food quality, service, and health and safety.
6. Respond to guest and employee needs, resolving complaints and issues promptly.
7. Inspect food outlets to ensure occupational, health, and safety standards are met.
8. Control labor and operating expenses.
9. Schedule and direct staff performance of work assignments.
10. Maintain high visibility during peak periods.
11. Communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
12. Ensure all guests receive exceptional service.
13. Work flexible hours as needed.
14. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a gaming license from the Illinois Gaming Board.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two or more years of related experience.
• Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
