LHH is partnering with a public accounting firm searching for a Client Accounting Services Supervisor. The Supervisor will report to a Partner and is responsible for organizing and managing engagements to provide accounting, tax, and bookkeeping services to clients, conducting financial statement analysis, and collaborating as an integral member of both the Tax and Audit Practice Teams.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise, train, and mentor Client Accounting Services Associates
• Perform financial statement analysis
• Download banking and credit card transactions into QuickBooks, automating the process with available technological capabilities
• Prepare bank reconciliations and reconcile all balance sheet accounts
• Prepare monthly journal entries and close procedures at month-end
• Prepare quarterly and annual payroll reports
• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements, including analysis for reasonableness
• Prepare sales tax returns
• Prepare tax returns and tax planning calculations
• Review individual and business tax returns

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 6+ years of client accounting services and income tax preparation experience in a public accounting firm
• CPA certification and active license (or actively working towards certification) preferred
• Enrolled Agent certification is a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, ProSystem fx Tax, Engagement, and GoFileRoom software (or equivalent)
