The Role

As Food and Beverage Shift Manager, you will supervise restaurant activities and employees to ensure smooth and efficient service, ensuring staff meets service standards in the 24-hour outlet.

Responsibilities

1. Foster an environment that embodies Bally’s Born to Entertain philosophy by creating a fun-filled, entertaining atmosphere
2. Enthusiastically promote Bally’s customer-centric culture of offering superior guest service and actively building long-lasting guest relations
3. Ensure compliance with regulatory controls both internal and external including but not limited to state and federal laws and the New York State Gaming Commission regulations
4. Hire, train, and manage staff in accordance with organizational and approved departmental standards, policies, and programs
5. Maintain high food, service, and health and safety standards
6. Respond to guest and employee needs and resolve complaints and issues
7. Inspect food outlets and observe workers and patrons to ensure compliance with occupational, health, and safety standards
8. Control labor and operating expenses
9. Schedule and direct staff in the performance of work assignments
10. Maintain high visibility during peak periods
11. Ensure all Guests receive superior service
12. Work flexible hours as needed
13. Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

1. Must be 21 years of age or older
2. Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Illinois Gaming Board
3. High school diploma or equivalent
4. Two or more years of related experience
5. Availability to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays
