Wendy's Company in Vermilion, OH is seeking a Shift Manager to guide Crew team members, assign tasks, and ensure high quality service and food while following safety guidelines.

You will coach staff, monitor QSC, participate in opening/closing procedures, and support cost-control measures. On-the-job training and advancement opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of restaurant or supervisory experience.
• Ability to obtain Food Safety Certification.
• Experience coaching and training crew members.

Responsibilities

• Assign and direct Crew team members and follow up on tasks.
• Provide guidance, instruction, and coaching to crew staff.
• Ensure training, safety guidelines, and food safety compliance.
• Monitor tasks to maintain QSC and manage cost controls.
• May open or close the restaurant as needed.

Shift managers play a vital role in our success as a business by assigning, directing, and following up on activities of Crew team members while also providing high quality service and food to our customers. Job responsibilities include providing guidance and coaching to crew team members, including assignment delegation, instruction, and follow-through. Shift managers ensure proper training for crew team members and maintain safe working conditions by ensuring that all safety guidelines are followed. To assist you in learning to be a successful part of our team, we offer on-the-job training and advancement opportunities.This position does not include direct supervision of other employees, however Shift Managers do monitor tasks performed by crew team members to ensure product Quality, Service, and Cleanliness (QSC) as well as execute established cost control systems including proper food prep amounts, procedure execution, and bin chart usage to minimize food cost. Shift managers may also be responsible for opening or closing procedures.
