Job summary

Wendy's Company is seeking a Shift Manager in the United States (Ohio) to lead Crew during shifts, provide guidance, and ensure high-quality service and food. You will coach staff, monitor QSC, and support opening/closing duties while maintaining safety and cost controls.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of restaurant or supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Assign and direct Crew team members and monitor tasks to ensure Quality, Service, and Cleanliness (QSC).
• Provide guidance and coaching to crew members, including instruction and follow-through.
• Support proper training for crew and ensure safety guidelines are followed.
• Assist with opening or closing procedures and cost-control measures.
• Monitor operations and maintain service standards during shifts.

Shift managers play a vital role in our success as a business by assigning, directing, and following up on activities of Crew team members while also providing high quality service and food to our customers. Job responsibilities include providing guidance and coaching to crew team members, including assignment delegation, instruction, and follow-through. Shift managers ensure proper training for crew team members and maintain safe working conditions by ensuring that all safety guidelines are followed. To assist you in learning to be a successful part of our team, we offer on-the-job training and advancement opportunities.This position does not include direct supervision of other employees, however Shift Managers do monitor tasks performed by crew team members to ensure product Quality, Service, and Cleanliness (QSC) as well as execute established cost control systems including proper food prep amounts, procedure execution, and bin chart usage to minimize food cost. Shift managers may also be responsible for opening or closing procedures.
