Job summary

Wendy's Company is seeking a Shift Manager to lead Crew team members, assign tasks, and monitor operations to maintain Quality, Service, and Cleanliness (QSC). You will coach staff, provide on-the-job training, and ensure safety guidelines are followed in a fast-paced environment.

The role involves guiding shift activities, supervising opening/closing procedures, and supporting cost control initiatives. This position offers career growth and opportunities within Wendy's operations.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of restaurant or supervisory experience.
• Ability to obtain Food Safety Certification.
• Legal authorization to work in the US.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet service time standards.

Responsibilities

• Assign, direct, and follow up on Crew duties to ensure QSC (Quality, Service, Cleanliness).
• Provide guidance and coaching to crew members, including instruction and follow-through.
• Ensure proper training for crew members and safety guidelines are followed.
• Monitor tasks performed by crew to maintain product quality and cost control.
• May be responsible for opening or closing procedures.

Shift managers play a vital role in our success as a business by assigning, directing, and following up on activities of Crew team members while also providing high quality service and food to our customers. Job responsibilities include providing guidance and coaching to crew team members, including assignment delegation, instruction, and follow-through. Shift managers ensure proper training for crew team members and maintain safe working conditions by ensuring that all safety guidelines are followed. To assist you in learning to be a successful part of our team, we offer on-the-job training and advancement opportunities.This position does not include direct supervision of other employees, however Shift Managers do monitor tasks performed by crew team members to ensure product Quality, Service, and Cleanliness (QSC) as well as execute established cost control systems including proper food prep amounts, procedure execution, and bin chart usage to minimize food cost. Shift managers may also be responsible for opening or closing procedures.
