Job summary

Wendy's Company in Clyde, OH is seeking a Shift Manager to lead Crew team members, assign tasks, coach, and monitor daily operations to ensure quality, service, and cleanliness. You will help with training, follow safety guidelines, support opening/closing procedures, and help control costs while maintaining a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of restaurant or supervisory experience.
• Ability to obtain Food Safety Certification.
• Ability to stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced environment.

• Flexible scheduling and reliability required.

Responsibilities

• Assign, direct, and follow up on Crew activities to ensure QSC (Quality, Service, Cleanliness).
• Provide guidance and coaching to crew members and delegate tasks.
• Ensure proper training and compliance with safety guidelines.
• Monitor tasks and apply cost-control practices, including food prep amounts and bin chart usage.
• May handle opening or closing procedures.

Shift managers play a vital role in our success as a business by assigning, directing, and following up on activities of Crew team members while also providing high quality service and food to our customers. Job responsibilities include providing guidance and coaching to crew team members, including assignment delegation, instruction, and follow-through. Shift managers ensure proper training for crew team members and maintain safe working conditions by ensuring that all safety guidelines are followed. To assist you in learning to be a successful part of our team, we offer on-the-job training and advancement opportunities.This position does not include direct supervision of other employees, however Shift Managers do monitor tasks performed by crew team members to ensure product Quality, Service, and Cleanliness (QSC) as well as execute established cost control systems including proper food prep amounts, procedure execution, and bin chart usage to minimize food cost. Shift managers may also be responsible for opening or closing procedures.
