Job summary

Fulenwider Enterprises is seeking a Shift Manager for its KFC and Taco Bell restaurants in Troutman, NC. You will lead the shift, supervise crew, ensure smooth operations and outstanding service.

You will train new teammates, uphold food safety, manage cash and inventory, and promote promotions while maintaining a positive, fast-paced work environment.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or fast‑food experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Food safety certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Shift: Oversee all aspects of the restaurant during your shift, including managing staff, handling customer inquiries, and ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Team Leadership: Motivate and guide your team to deliver exceptional service. Foster a positive work environment where everyone feels valued and motivated.
• Customer Service: Interact with customers, take orders, and ensure their dining experience is memorable. Address any concerns promptly and professionally.
• Food Safety: Maintain high food safety standards. Monitor food preparation, storage, and handling to prevent any health risks.
• Cash Handling: Handle cash registers, process payments, and maintain accurate records.
• Inventory Management: Keep track of inventory levels, order supplies as needed, and manage stock rotation.
• Shift Reports: Prepare shift reports, including sales, labor costs, and any incidents that occurred during your shift.
• Training: Train new team members on company policies, procedures, and customer service standards.
• Problem-Solving: Handle unexpected situations, resolve conflicts, and make quick decisions to keep operations running smoothly.
• Cleanliness: Ensure the restaurant is clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
• Promotions and Specials: Assist in promoting new menu items, deals, and promotions to drive sales.
