Shift Manager at a McDonald’s restaurant operates under the ownership of an independent franchisee. The franchisee is the sole employer responsible for all employment matters including hiring, firing, discipline, supervision, staffing, and scheduling. Responsibilities

• Lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience.
• Provide leadership to crew and other managers during a shift to maintain quality, service, and cleanliness.
• Plan for each shift, monitor performance, and take action to meet McDonald’s standards.
• Monitor safety, security, and profitability.
• Communicate with the next Shift Manager to prepare the next shift.
• Help assigned departments meet their goals and meet shift targets.
