Job summary

Harri is seeking a Shift Manager for Steak ’n Shake in Hendersonville, TN. This role focuses on leading daily restaurant operations, coaching staff, and delivering top-tier guest service in a fast-paced environment.

You will supervise opening/closing tasks, manage deposits, ensure brand standards, and support training. A strong candidate demonstrates reliability, leadership, and a passion for hospitality.

Qualifications

• US work authorization required or eligible.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous supervisory/restaurant management preferred.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
• Excellent guest service orientation and communication.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily restaurant operations with energy, confidence, and accountability.
• Ensure strong openings and closings by setting up the team for success.
• Set the tone for the shift—motivate and coach team members for success.
• Deliver fast, friendly, and accurate service that exceeds guest expectations.
• Ensure all brand standards are met – cleanliness, food safety, and quality.
• Handle opening and closing duties, including key-holder responsibilities.
• Count drawers, manage deposits, and finalize end-of-day reports.
• Communicate clearly and respectfully with guests and team members.
• Support training and onboarding of new team members.
• Foster a positive, team-oriented environment built on trust and respect.
