Job summary

Steak ’n Shake Boardman is seeking a hands-on Shift Manager to lead daily restaurant operations with energy and accountability. You will oversee openings and closings, motivate the team, and ensure fast, friendly service that meets brand standards.

The role requires reliability, servant leadership, strong communication, and flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays. US work authorization and a high school diploma or equivalent are needed.

• Set the tone for the shift—motivate and coach team members for success
• Deliver fast, friendly, and accurate service that exceeds guest expectations
• Ensure all brand standards are met - cleanliness, food safety, and quality
• Handle opening and closing duties, including key-holder responsibilities
• Count drawers, manage deposits, and finalize end-of-day reports
• Communicate clearly and respectfully with guests and team members
• Support training and onboarding of new team members
• Foster a positive, team-oriented environment built on trust and respect
• Step into any station as needed to keep operations running smoothly
