Job summary

ABC Fine Wine & Spirits in Orange Park, FL is seeking a Shift Leader Trainee to train into a Shift Leader within about 90 days. You will open/close the store, oversee operations, greet guests, and process transactions with a POS system.

You will train teammates, stock shelves, merchandise, and maintain a clean, safe environment while prioritizing exceptional guest service. Must be 21+, HS diploma, and able to work nights/weekends/holidays. ABC offers strong benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 6 months of proven management or leadership experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• The ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Manager on Duty in training, open and close the store, and assist the Store Manager and Assistant Manager in overseeing store operations.
• Greet each Guest upon entry and provide prompt, friendly service throughout their visit.
• Operate a Point-of-Sale terminal to process Guest transactions, including accurate cash handling and applying coupons or discounts.
• Stay current on required training, company policies, and product knowledge to ensure compliance and a high-quality Guest experience.
• Train, coach, and direct other sales associates when acting as MOD in training to promote exceptional customer service.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment throughout the store, including sales floor and stockroom.
• Assist with daily property upkeep and merchandising; restock from stockrooms as needed.
• Provide wrapping service for ABC products and offer carryout service when needed.
• Unload and merchandise weekly truck deliveries; display products per guidelines.
• Perform other tasks/projects as assigned by store management.
