Job summary

ABC Fine Wine & Spirits is seeking Shift Leader Trainees who will be trained to move into the Shift Leader role within about 90 days. You will serve as Manager on Duty in training, open/close the store, and support the Store Manager in daily operations.

You will greet guests, process transactions at a POS, and ensure accurate cash handling while delivering high-quality service. Training emphasizes product knowledge, safety, and leadership of teammates.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 6 months of proven experience and/or training in a management or leadership role; at least 2 years of college/technical school in Business Management or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Manager on Duty in training, open and close the store and assist management.
• Greet Guests and provide prompt, friendly service throughout their visit.
• Operate a POS terminal and handle cash and coupons per procedures.
• Stay current on training, policies and product knowledge for informed guest experience.
• Train and coach other sales associates when acting as MOD in training.
• Maintain clean, safe, organized store and back areas.
