Job summary

ABC Fine Wine & Spirits, Leesburg, FL, is seeking a Shift Leader Trainee to join our team. This role trains to become Shift Leader within about 90 days, overseeing store operations as Manager on Duty and delivering personalized service to guests.

Responsibilities include cash handling, POS operation, training other associates, stocking, merchandising, opening/closing, and ensuring a clean, safe store environment while supporting the store management.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• 6 months of proven experience and/or training in a management or leadership role; 2 years of education from college/technical school in Business Management or related field.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as business needs demand.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Manager on Duty in training and assist Store Manager and Assistant Manager in overseeing store operations.
• Greet guests and provide prompt, friendly service throughout their visit.
• Process transactions at POS with accurate cash handling and apply coupons or discounts per procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized store environment including sales floor and stockroom.
• Train and coach other sales associates when acting as Manager on Duty in training.
• Unload weekly truck deliveries and merchandise displays per guidelines.
• Support daily property upkeep and assist with stock replenishment.
