Job summary

Del Taco is seeking a Shift Manager to support the General Manager and lead a team in delivering top guest service. The role involves training, staffing decisions, and ensuring safety, quality, and policy adherence on each shift.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in quick service restaurant environment with demonstrated ability to ensure guest satisfaction and able to train staff
• Demonstrated leadership with management and staff and ability to provide quality service
• Ability to handle multiple tasks with effective follow-through
• Motivate and lead staff to achieve organizational goals
• General knowledge of computers and POS systems; cash handling skills desired
• Excellent organizational skills for keeping detailed records, reports and logs

Responsibilities

• Supervise 1–7 team members and support the General Manager in shifts
• Run shifts and ensure policy execution, safety and quality standards
• Provide training and development to restaurant staff
• Assist staffing decisions, interviews, and disciplinary actions as needed
• Maintain professional appearance and adhere to company guidelines
• Explain menu items accurately to guests and assist with guest service goals
• Uphold OSHA, health and safety codes and company safety policies
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and ethical practices
