Job summary

Del Taco is seeking a Shift Manager to support the General Manager in running daily operations, training the team, and delivering an exceptional guest experience.

You will supervise 1-7 crew members, ensure food safety and quality, handle POS transactions, and help make staffing decisions while upholding company policies. This is a fast-paced role with growth opportunities in an independent franchise setting.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in quick service restaurant environment.
• Demonstrated ability to be a leadership partner with management and staff, and to provide quality service to guests.
• Ability to stand and walk for the majority of shifts and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and proof of vehicle insurance.
• Food Handlers certification may be required.
• Open availability to work any shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Supervise team to meet quality, guest service, and cost goals.
• Run shifts and enforce company policies and programs.
• Manage station functions and keep records for each job.
• Provide leadership, training, and development to the restaurant team.
• Support hiring decisions and disciplinary actions as needed.
• Explain menu items accurately to guests.
