Job summary

Church's Texas Chicken is seeking a capable Shift Leader to supervise on-shift Team Members, coaching and developing them to deliver an outstanding customer experience. You will help ensure adherence to Cajun Operating Company policies and procedures and drive safe, efficient restaurant operations.

You will oversee daily cash handling, inventory tasks, and use of the POS system while maintaining professional leadership behaviors and ensuring staff attendance and shift readiness.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED recommended.
• ServSafe food safety training is highly recommended.

Responsibilities

• Ensure prompt, friendly customer service.
• Ensure menu products are prepared according to procedures.
• Oversee task assignments and activities for the shift.
• Assist Team Members to prepare quality products and maintain a clean restaurant.
• Demonstrate proper procedures for Team Members to follow.
• Enforce safety and security policies and procedures.
• Open and close duties as required on Shift Awareness Checklists.
• Follow proper product procedures for all menu items.
• Handle receiving, storage, and rotation of food; maintain correct icing procedures.
• Maintain professional and ethical leadership behaviors and ensure on-time attendance.
