Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Production Supervisor in Libertyville, IL. The role drives safety, quality, and efficiency on the production floor, overseeing shift activities, coaching employees, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to meet KPIs.

The candidate will monitor production systems (FactBird/JDE), manage material usage, and lead continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring compliance with ISO/BRC standards. Strong leadership and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is essential.
• Foster safety, quality, and productivity through structured processes.

Responsibilities

• Assures safety initiatives and investigates risks.
• Follows Product Control Plan and maintains quality per specs.
• Monitor process inputs and verify parameters.
• Address NCRs during shifts and rework as needed.
• Monitor Factbird and JDE production systems and generate shift reports.
• Manage and reduce material waste (scrap).
• Assign tasks and lead shift handoffs; train and coach staff.
• Control payroll hours and maintain labor costs within budget.
• Lead continuous improvement projects and ensure ISO/BRC compliance.
