Job summary

Amcor LLC is seeking a manufacturing supervisor to direct all shift operations, focusing on safety, quality and productivity across work centers. You will lead hourly employees, manage schedules and ensure accurate production data to drive decisions.

The role requires a post-secondary degree with at least three years in manufacturing and knowledge of plastics, Six Sigma and Lean methodologies. SAP and Excel proficiency are expected.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree with relevant manufacturing experience.
• Minimum three years in manufacturing leadership and operations.
• Knowledge of plastics industry, statistics, Lean and Six Sigma concepts.
• Familiarity with production planning, scheduling, maintenance, and basic accounting.

Responsibilities

• Directs the manufacturing and material handling activities for the plant during the shift.
• Oversees training and supervision of hourly employees and candidates for hire, promotion, demotion, transfer.
• Manages the work schedule to prevent idle time and optimize manpower, machinery, and material.
• Maintains accuracy of production order information in the MII system for decision making.
• Provides leadership to associates and promotes teamwork across operations.
