Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to lead shift production, uphold safety, quality, and efficiency, and drive a high-performance culture across the team. You will oversee daily production, manage staffing and payroll compliance, and collaborate with Maintenance and Process Engineering to resolve issues.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years in operations or related fields or 5+ years of equivalent experience, plus SAP proficiency and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 2 years’ experience in operations, production supervision, quality, maintenance or related experience preferred OR equivalent combination of education and relevant experience totaling 5 or more years.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
• Computer proficiency with MS Office; SAP experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Act as a safety leader and put safety first in all responsibilities.
• Oversee daily production to ensure production goals are achieved.
• Manage employee timecards and time-off requests for accurate payroll and coverage.
• Champion continuous improvement projects and sustain gains from initiatives.
• Evaluate equipment and material problems and coordinate with Maintenance and Process Engineering to resolve them.
