Job summary

MFA Petroleum Company is seeking Break Time Shift Leaders in Missouri to assist with daily store operations, supervision, and cash handling. You will engage customers, support peak hours, and help maintain food service and safety standards.

This role emphasizes teamwork, training new staff, and using point-of-sale systems while ensuring compliance with local regulations. A high school diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license are preferred; successful background checks and drug testing are

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance.
• Flexible availability including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and count inventory.
• Pre-employment background check and drug test required.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and greet customers.
• Assist in daily store operations: reporting, banking, inventory, bookkeeping, and maintenance.
• Promote food service and safety; execute marketing programs and merchandising tasks.
• Supervise shifts in the manager’s absence and train new employees.
• Maintain timely communication with customers, vendors, and management.
• Manage cash handling, lottery, and inventory audits; work to meet sales goals.
• Operate point of sale systems and store technology.
• Adhere to company policies and perform other duties as assigned.
