Job summary

Goodwill Central Oklahoma seeks individuals to support store management in daily operations and to help grow our mission of assisting people toward independence. You will assist in cash handling, customer service, training staff, and preparing daily reports.

Responsibilities include opening/closing cash drawers, processing sales, conducting safety inspections, and maintaining safety logs. Excellent communication and reliability are essential in a busy retail environment.

Qualifications

• High School degree or GED preferred.
• Prior retail experience or customer service/relations experience preferred.
• 6 months supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to speak, read and write English.
• Reliable transportation and communication required.

Responsibilities

• Punctual and dependable attendance.
• Provide excellent customer service and train employees in customer/contributor service skills.
• Assist in preparation of daily reports.
• Open and close cash registers, counting money, separating charge slips and balancing cash drawers.
• Assist in sales and processing of items.
• Conduct store monthly safety inspections in conjunction with Store Manager to identify potential hazards.
• Maintain safety log and coordinate safety drills.
• Attend training as required.
• Abide by agency policies and procedures and safety rules.
• Review and be familiar with safety policies and procedures and attend safety training and meetings.
