Job summary

Perkins Restaurant & Bakery is seeking a Shift Leader to support management in meeting restaurant goals by enforcing policies, procedures and standards. You will take a hands-on leadership role to deliver hot food fast, maintain an outstanding image and ensure 100% guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities include supervising a shift, coordinating with staff, ensuring proper food prep, and stepping in to perform any role as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; some college or degree preferred.
• 1 year experience preferably in the food service industry.
• Ability to lead a shift and manage staff during busy times.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all menu items are prepared, portioned, and presented properly in a clean, sanitary manner according to procedures and health regulations.
• Perform or assist all restaurant functions when needed.
• Shift readiness: plan, inspect, assign work stations and motivate the team for a successful shift.
• Direct your shift to lead a great shift, maintain standards, and address issues promptly.
• Follow up: assess shift results, communicate with management about performance and guest concerns.
