Job summary

Perkins Restaurant & Bakery is seeking a Shift Leader to support management in achieving restaurant goals by enforcing policies, procedures and standards. You will take a hands-on leadership role to deliver hot food quickly, maintain an outstanding image and ensure 100% guest satisfaction each shift.

You will report to the General Manager or Manager on duty, coordinate with staff and home office, and expect to perform various duties across all positions when needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; some college preferred.
• 1 year experience in food service preferred.
• Proven leadership and team communication skills.
• Ability to supervise and lead a shift, plan and communicate expectations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure menu items are prepared and presented in a clean, safe, sanitary manner.
• Perform duties for all positions as needed during shifts.
• Set up each shift for success by planning, inspecting and communicating expectations.
• Direct your shift to maintain standards, correct issues, and keep the team engaged during rushes.
• Follow up on results and communicate with management about performance and guest concerns.
