Job summary

Perkins Restaurant & Bakery is seeking a Shift Leader to support management by implementing policies, guiding the team, and ensuring fast hot food, clean appearance, and 100% guest satisfaction.

You will supervise during shifts, coordinate set-ups, communicate expectations, handle issues, and ensure safety and sanitation per health regulations while delivering friendly, efficient service to guests.

Qualifications

• High school diploma; some college or degree preferred.
• 1 year experience preferably in the food service industry.
• Ability to read, write and perform basic calculations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure menu items are prepared, portioned and presented properly.
• Perform and assist in all restaurant positions when needed.
• Plan shifts, inspect readiness, and communicate expectations to staff.
• Direct the shift to maintain standards, handle rushes, and resolve issues.
• Follow up to ensure guest satisfaction and readiness for next shift.
