Job summary

Papa John's is seeking a Shift Leader to oversee shifts and work areas, ensuring high quality products and excellent customer service to support restaurant profitability. You will enforce company policies, procedures, programs and systems while ensuring compliance with laws and ethical practices.

The role includes managing station duties, ensuring product quality, and maintaining staffing and shift coverage.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Serv-Safe/Local or State Food Service Certification preferred.
• Previous restaurant shift lead experience preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work long hours (32+ hours generally required), nights, weekends and emergencies.
• Ability to perform duties of all positions in the restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to guidelines for each station including dough management and portioning.
• Makes quality products following procedures and holding times.
• Contributes to achieving the company's product goals and minimizes customer complaints.
• Maintains adequate shift coverage and provides feedback to correct problems.
• Manages inventory using company systems to minimize loss and handles cash management.
