Job summary

Ontario Trillium Foundation is seeking a leadership-focused individual to run shifts with the leadership team, ensuring high standards of service and operations in Fort Myers. You will oversee inventory, hiring, onboarding, and the behind-the-scenes admin work to keep the store running smoothly.

The successful candidate will model reliability, handle weekends/evenings, and support the Store Manager while maintaining customer-focused teamwork.

Qualifications

• Prior leadership experience in food service, retail, or hospitality — shift lead, supervisor, assistant manager.
• Someone who notices problems and fixes them instead of reporting them later.
• Comfortable having a direct conversation with a teammate and remaining cordial with a customer five minutes later.
• Organized enough to keep the admin side from piling up.
• Steady when it’s busy or slammed.
• Reliable — you’re one of the people the whole store leans on.
• Open availability including weekends and evenings.
• On your feet for a full shift and able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts and guide the team through daily operations.
• Oversee inventory and ordering to control food costs.
• Handle hiring, conduct interviews and help onboard new hires.
• Manage back-of-house and administrative tasks (scheduling, checklists).
• Back up the Store Manager and step in when they’re off.
