Job summary

Ontario Trillium Foundation is seeking a motivated Shift Leader to run a shift like it’s their own business. You will lead the team, ensure food quality and guest satisfaction, manage labor and productivity, and coach team members throughout the shift.

This role requires strong decision-making, accountability, and the ability to stay composed under high volume. Nights and weekends are required; you will open/close the restaurant and uphold food safety standards, while keeping the operation fast,

Qualifications

• Leadership presence demonstrated on shift leadership roles.
• Strong decision-making and accountability.
• Ability to work under pressure in a high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct team members during assigned shifts.
• Ensure food quality, speed of service, and guest satisfaction.
• Manage labor and productivity during your shift.
• Coach and develop team members in the moment.
• Handle guest concerns and service recovery professionally.
• Enforce food safety, cleanliness, and health standards.
• Count drawers and manage cash accurately (if applicable).
• Open and/or close the restaurant following company procedures.
• Maintain a positive, high-energy work environment.
• Communicate clearly with management and team members.
