Job summary

Ontario Trillium Foundation seeks a Shift Leader to organize and manage the team for a clean, safe restaurant and exceptional guest experiences. You will communicate shift duties, uphold brand standards, and support staff development in a fast-paced environment.

The role focuses on ensuring staffing adequacy, maintaining product readiness, and driving profitability through service excellence and rule-based operations.

Qualifications

• Fluent reading and writing in English.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Strong math and financial management abilities.
• At least 1 year in restaurant or retail settings.
• 1 year supervisory experience preferred.
• Food safety training or certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicate job expectations and shift responsibilities to employees.
• Hold team members accountable for performance with respect.
• Support the development of team members.
• Create and maintain a guest-focused culture.
• Ensure brand standards, recipes, and systems are executed.
• Ensure shift is staffed and meets guest service goals.
