Habit Burger & Grill is hiring a Shift Leader to oversee all FOH & BOH functions and ensure a smooth shift. You will work with the management team to manage food and labor costs, meet sales goals, and uphold health and safety standards.

The role emphasizes leadership, guest service, and teamwork, with a focus on training, scheduling, and maintaining high standards in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in related food service management or 2 years in other food service positions.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Food Manager Certification and/or ServSafe Certification required.
• Ability to work a flexible full‑time schedule.
• Occasional travel for meetings, conferences, and training may be needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and resolve requests with courtesy
• Recruit, hire, and train FOH staff; develop team
• Oversee daily restaurant shift operations
• Ensure food safety, sanitation, and appearance standards
• Monitor labor costs and food costs to optimize profits
• Prepare deposits and reconcile cash drawers
• Lead opening/closing procedures and checklists
