RaceTrac is seeking a hands-on Shift Manager to lead a fast-paced store team, set the tone for exceptional guest experiences, and drive daily operations. You’ll train, coach, and motivate staff while ensuring food safety, inventory, and cash-handling standards are met.

The role emphasizes people leadership, effective communication, and a flexible schedule in a dynamic retail setting, with opportunities for growth into General and Co-Managers roles.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of work experience (retail, restaurant, or food service preferred).
• 1+ years of leadership or supervisory experience (preferred).
• High School Diploma or GED (in progress or completed).

Responsibilities

• Lead a winning team on your shift.
• Provide clear direction and assist with food service, stocking, cleaning, or cash handling.
• Coach team members in real-time, offering guidance and support during every shift.
• Address guest concerns with empathy and professionalism, escalating when necessary.
• Train and guide your team to meet RaceTrac’s guest service, food safety, and cleanliness standards.
• Oversee key store processes including write-offs, cash wrap, and compliance documentation.
• Lead shift change communication and ensure team alignment throughout the day.
