Job summary

Dunkin' Donuts franchisee in Alabama is seeking a Shift Leader to coach Crew Members on shift, assign tasks, and uphold our guest experience and operating standards. You will set goals, provide feedback, and help the team meet service and quality expectations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications include fluent English, math and writing skills, and prior restaurant or supervisory experience. We offer weekly pay, employee meals, and medical/dental insurance through the company contribution

Qualifications

• Must be able to fluently speak/read English.
• Math and writing skills are required.
• Restaurant, retail, or supervisory experience is preferred.
• Guest focus and problem-solving abilities are valuable.

Responsibilities

• Talk employees into, through, and out of position on each shift, communicating responsibilities and recognizing achievements.
• Deploy team members to meet guests' needs and service standards.
• Support training of Crew Members as directed by General Manager or Assistant Manager.
• Communicate goals and hold team members accountable for performance.
• Hold guests as highest priority and role model exceptional guest service.
• Drive sense of urgency to satisfy guests’ needs and resolve problems.
• Reinforce the use of systems, tools, and procedures during shift.
• Monitor team performance to ensure quality, service, and cleanliness standards.
• Ensure restaurant standards and marketing initiatives are properly executed during shift.
• Follow all systems to control labor costs, food costs, and cash during shift.
• Monitor compliance with policies related to cleanliness, food safety, and safety and security.
• Report equipment issues and discuss opportunities with the General Manager.
• Comply with all restaurant, Brand, and franchisee policies.
