Job summary

Whataburger is seeking a Shift Leader to drive operational excellence at our Nashville restaurant. You will lead the shift, coach team members, manage quality, and ensure superb guest service with a focus on safety and efficiency.

You will collaborate with the Restaurant Manager team, develop shift-management capabilities, and help build a strong and energetic work culture across responsibilities and daily operations.

Qualifications

• Must have experience coaching or leading teams.
• Strong customer service skills are essential.
• Excellent communication and multitasking abilities are required.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts including overnights and weekends.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks.
• ServSafe Food Certification or ability to obtain during training.

Responsibilities

• Lead shift management to maintain quality, service, and cleanliness.
• Coach, train, and motivate team members to perform at peak levels.
• Support goals related to food cost, labor cost, and sales performance.
• Uphold food safety, workplace safety, sanitation, and compliance requirements.

• Prepare and transition shift operations to keep the restaurant running smoothly.
