Job summary

Far West Restaurant Group is seeking a Shift Leader to help run daily restaurant operations, coach team members, and maintain high standards of guest service. You will support the General Manager and Assistant Manager while delivering a positive experience for guests and staff.

This leadership role emphasizes integrity, clear communication, and the ability to stay calm in a fast-paced environment. You will lead by example, train teammates, and drive operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and leadership mindset.
• Experience using a Point of Sale (POS) system preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily shift operations and support restaurant performance.
• Coach and encourage team members during each shift.
• Lead by example and promote a positive team culture.
• Deliver exceptional guest service and resolve guest concerns professionally.
• Ensure food safety, cleanliness, and operational standards are maintained.
• Monitor ticket times and help deliver orders within quoted readiness times.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed to keep teams and guests safe.
• Support cash handling and ensure company procedures are followed.
• Assist with opening, closing, and shift changing responsibilities.
• Communicating restaurant needs and maintenance concerns management.
• Help train and develop new team members.
• Step into any position as needed to support the success of the restaurant.
