Far West Restaurant Group is seeking a confident Shift Leader to guide daily restaurant operations and coach team members toward delivering an exceptional guest experience.

You will support the General Manager by leading shifts, upholding standards, and fostering a positive culture while ensuring food safety and timely service. Ideal candidates bring leadership experience and a strong work ethic in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of restaurant, retail, or leadership experience.
• Food Handler Certification required.
• Experience using a Point of Sale (POS) system.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Reliable attendance and availability to support business needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily shift operations and support restaurant performance.
• Coach and encourage team members during each shift.
• Lead by example and promote a positive team culture.
• Deliver exceptional guest service and resolve concerns professionally.
• Ensure food safety, cleanliness, and operational standards.
• Monitor ticket times and deliver orders within quoted readiness times.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed to keep teams and guests safe.
• Support cash handling and ensure company procedures are followed.
• Assist with opening, closing, and shift-changing responsibilities.
• Communicate restaurant needs and maintenance concerns to management.
• Help train and develop new team members.
• Step into any position as needed to support the restaurant's success.
