Job summary

Dunkin' Donuts Incorporated is seeking a Shift Leader to coach team members during the shift, uphold Brand standards, and ensure excellent guest service. You will set goals, assign duties, and motivate the team with timely feedback to maintain smooth shift operations.

You will also support the Restaurant Manager, oversee food safety and inventory, and handle escalations while maintaining a positive guest experience in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Basic computer skills.
• Fluent in spoken and written English or the local language you serve.
• Previous leadership experience in retail, restaurant or hospitality, or a related customer-facing environment.
• Proven experience managing daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, deposits, and maintaining operational controls.

Responsibilities

• Coach restaurant team members and provide timely, constructive feedback.
• Support the Restaurant Manager in meeting operational goals and execution.
• Ensure Brand standards are met throughout shift including preparation of food and beverages.
• Communicate shift priorities, goals and results to restaurant team members.
• Complete shift deployment plans to ensure positions are adequately supported.
• Delegate tasks and responsibilities to ensure smooth workflow and resource use.
• Support training of restaurant team members as needed.
• Oversee franchisee safety, security and profitability policies during shift.
• Communicate with the next Shift Leader to prep for the shift handoff.
• Manage inventory and ensure food safety standards are met.
• Provide great guest service and coach team members to do the same.
• Handle customer complaints, conflicts, and emergencies, and resolve issues quickly.
