Job summary

Nothing Bundt Cakes in Garden Grove is seeking a Shift Manager to lead bakery operations during shifts, support team members across all areas, and ensure outstanding guest service while upholding quality, sanitation, and teamwork standards.

You will coach and train staff, assist with opening/closing, manage cash handling and reporting, and help maintain a positive, efficient bakery environment that reflects our brand. Weekend availability is often required.

Qualifications

• Previous leadership or supervisory experience in retail, restaurant, or food service.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lead by example in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate team members to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• Oversee daily bakery operations and ensure smooth shift execution.
• Provide coaching, training, and support to team members.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and daily reporting.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and company standards.
• Support guest service, cake decoration, frosting, and production activities as needed.
• Address guest concerns professionally and resolve issues promptly.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate operational needs to management.
• Foster a positive, team-oriented culture that reflects the Nothing Bundt Cakes brand.
