Habit Burger & Grill in Cerritos, CA is seeking a Shift Leader to oversee all FOH & BOH functions during a shift, lead a high-performing team, and help meet sales and cost targets.

You will train staff, ensure food safety, handle guest concerns, and support scheduling, deposits, and checkout processes. This role requires leadership, English proficiency, and a flexible full-time schedule for growth within our people-first culture.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Food Manager Certification and ServSafe Manager Certification required.
• 1 year of management in food service or 2 years in other food service.
• Ability to work a flexible full-time schedule and travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist guests with a friendly, professional attitude.
• Oversee FOH & BOH operations during shifts and ensure standards.
• Train and develop FOH staff to meet customer service goals.
• Assist in recruiting, hiring, and staff scheduling.
• Monitor food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
• Help control labor costs and optimize profits.
• Reconcile cash drawers and deposits from shifts.
• Address guest concerns and resolve issues promptly.
