Job summary

Habit Burger & Grill is seeking a Shift Leader to oversee all FOH & BOH functions and ensure an exceptional guest experience. You’ll work with management to control food and labor costs, meet sales goals, and uphold health and safety standards across the shift.

You’ll recruit, train, and develop FOH staff, ensuring team members meet customer service standards while maintaining cleanliness and a safe work environment. This role is on-site at our Waldorf, MD location.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of restaurant operations and procedures.
• Clear English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Basic math and computer skills for order processing and scheduling.
• Customer service oriented with a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Ability to lead, coach, and motivate a team.
• Demonstrates professionalism and leadership qualities.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and ensure a positive guest experience.
• Assist in recruiting, hiring, and training FOH staff.
• Train and develop FOH staff to meet service standards.
• Oversee shift operations, including food safety and sanitation.
• Monitor labor and food costs, work toward sales targets.
• Open and close restaurant following procedures and cash handling.
