Habit Burger & Grill is seeking a Shift Leader to oversee all FOH and BOH functions, ensuring a smooth shift and exceptional guest experience. You will work with the management team to control food and labor costs, meet sales goals, and uphold health and safety standards.

The role requires leadership, staff training, and excellent customer service. Strong communication and flexibility to adapt to restaurant needs are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 1 year of management experience in food service preferred, or 2 years in other food service roles.
• Food Manager Certification and/or ServSafe Manager Certification required.
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English.
• Must be able to work a flexible full-time schedule with occasional travel for meetings/training.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and ensure a smooth FOH and BOH shift operation.
• Help recruit, hire, train, and develop FOH staff.
• Monitor food quality, safety, sanitation, and inventory controls.
• Oversee opening/closing procedures and cash deposits.
• Control labor costs and optimize store profitability within policy.
• Ensure adherence to applicable labor laws and health standards.
