Job summary

Habit Burger Grill in California is seeking a Shift Leader to oversee all FOH & BOH functions and ensure an exceptional guest experience. You will work with the management team to control food and labor costs, meet sales targets, and ensure health and safety standards are followed at all times.

The role requires 1 year of relevant management experience (or 2 years in other food service), a High School diploma or equivalent, and a Food Manager/ServSafe certification.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in related food service management preferred or 2 years in other food service.
• Food Manager Certification and/or ServSafe Manager Certificate required.
• Ability to work a flexible full-time schedule.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist guests with courtesy and professionalism.
• Oversee FOH & BOH functions to ensure smooth shifts.
• Assist in recruiting and hiring FOH staff and training.
• Monitor food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards.
• Manage deposits, cash handling, and end-of-shift reconciliations.
• Help control labor costs and optimize daily operations.
