Job summary

Habit Burger & Grill is seeking a Shift Leader in Sacramento, CA to oversee both front-of-house and back-of-house operations during shifts. You will work with management to meet sales goals, control labor and food costs, and ensure health and safety standards are continually met.

The role requires leadership, excellent guest service, and the ability to train and develop staff while maintaining a positive, customer-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in related food service management or 2 years in other food service.
• High school degree or equivalent preferred.
• Food Manager Certification and/or ServSafe Manager Certificate required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and serve guests courteously and resolve issues.
• Oversee FOH and BOH during shifts and ensure service standards.
• Assist in recruiting and training FOH staff.
• Monitor food safety, sanitation, and personal hygiene standards.
• Open and close the restaurant following checklists.
• Help manage labor costs and drive sales while maintaining quality.
