Potbelly Corporate is hiring a Shift Leader in Chanhassen, MN. This part-time role requires leading a team during shifts, ensuring food safety, customer service, and efficient operations.

You will manage tasks, assist with training, and help control costs while maintaining quality and a friendly working environment. Compensation includes an hourly wage ($17.25–$17.75) plus digital tips, with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year supervisory experience in a restaurant or retail setting.
• Must pass state Food Safety requirements and obtain a Food Safety Certification.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Customer-first mindset with ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Lead team on shifts, assign tasks efficiently and provide feedback.
• Ensure security procedures and back-of-house standards are followed.
• Count drawers and handle daily cash procedures.
• Prepare quality products (sandwiches, salads, soups, etc.) quickly.
• Maintain health and safety standards for food, cleanliness and safety.
• Restock food lines and perishable items as needed.
• Clean work areas, tables, counters, floors and utensils.
• Operate cash register and balance cash transactions.
• Address customer concerns and resolve issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
