Job summary

Concessions International in Sterling, VA is seeking a supervisory team member to ensure superior guest service by guiding staff, handling transactions, assisting with food prep, and maintaining unit opening/closing duties.

You will lead associates in the absence of management, uphold safety and sanitation standards, monitor daily operations, and train teammates to meet service and sales goals. This role requires a proactive, customer-focused supervisor committed to quality and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain alcohol awareness and ServSafe certification.

Responsibilities

• Ensure guest receives superior service with a friendly environment and prompt greeting.
• Communicate, explain and suggestively sell menu offerings, products, and promotions.
• Handle cash procedures, process checks, and complete payments accurately.
• Cooks and stores food at correct temperatures and rotates products per standards.
• Assist management in monitoring daily operations and lead staff in absence of manager.
• Perform opening and closing duties including cash management, inventory, and stocking.
• Follow company policies, procedures and safety guidelines.
• Train associates to maintain unit standards, sales and customer service.
• Ensure cleanliness and proper maintenance of all areas; complete side works as required.
• Follow safe food handling and hygiene practices.
• Report equipment malfunctions to management immediately.
