Job summary

Zax LLC is seeking a Shift Leader to manage the product, process, and people required to execute a shift across the restaurant. You will set shift goals, train staff, and respond to guest concerns while maintaining safety and quality.

The role includes supervising and coaching team members, delegating tasks, and ensuring standards are met to deliver excellent guest experiences. You will lead by example, drive performance, and collaborate with management to meet daily objectives.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Part-time: Available to work 9 to 28 hours per week.
• Full-time: Available to work 32 to 40 hours per week.
• Successful completion of background check.
• Demonstrates leadership qualities, organizational skills, and ability to interact cooperatively with others.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Technological savvy; knowledge of required company software and tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Train and coach team members to meet company standards.
• Mentor, coach, and develop team members and communicate performance concerns to the General Manager.
• Prioritize guest and team member experience and resolve complaints in a friendly manner.
• Delegate tasks to team members and supervise performance during a shift.
• Maintain operational standards and ensure compliance with guidelines and procedures.
• Ensure service, product quality, and cleanliness standards are upheld.
• Plan shift duties and ensure opening and closing duties are completed.
