Job summary

Caribou Coffee in Mankato is seeking a Shift Leader to drive daily store performance in partnership with the General Manager or Assistant GM. You’ll lead shifts, coach teammates, and ensure service excellence while upholding SOPs and quality standards.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year in leadership within food service or retail, flexible availability, and a valid driver’s license. This role emphasizes community engagement and hands-on leadership on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of leadership, restaurant, retail or customer service experience.
• Ability to work at least one of the following: early mornings, evenings, some holidays and/or weekends.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Preferred: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts that focus on team engagement and guest satisfaction with a focus on Make Fun Happen.
• Ensure SOPs and quality standards are followed consistently.
• Coach Team Members in real time and provide constructive feedback.
• Train team on roles, product knowledge and promotions.
• Handle administrative tasks such as deposits, inventory and store orders.
